ACW Technology Ltd's modern 50,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Tonypandy, South Wales was purpose built for electronics manufacture. The plant currently operates five dual or single Surface Mount lines together with manual insert PCB lines. The Surface Mount lines place 0402s, BGAs, micro BGAs etcetera in volume. As in all ACW plants, the lines are configured for Printed Circuit Board load and In Circuit Test, full box assembly and functional test. ACW Wales makes a variety of commercial and industrial products and is also a UK government approved facility with staff fully familiar with manufacturing Avionics / Aerospace, Defence and Security products. Services offered include advanced ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) and state of the art sophisticated vibration testing. ACW Wales staff are widely experienced and customers are well supported with product and process engineering, account management and materials supply expertise. Company procedures and Quality Approvals are harmonised across all sites, and there are full intersite network and telephone communications including video conferencing. These facilities enable staff at any site to assist rapidly in absorbing information from customers and in problem solving. The Tonypandy site is in the heart of the Rhondda valley where there is a plentiful supply of trained, hard working personnel.
